Our Options
Our treatment options are available for all our patients. We can prescribe the treatment we think is necessary, or you can pick and choose the ones that you respond to most and thereby create a customized approach to your recovery.
The options we offer include:
Detox Referral
Detox referral means that we will assess whether you might require a chemical detox and if so, we will then refer you to one of our trusted partners. A detox will help you to remove the harmful substances from your system, while at the same time causing physical changes in your brain to remove the addiction.
Therapy
We provide both small group therapy and one on one therapy. This ‘talking cure’ will help to discuss the factors that may have led to your addiction and that might be standing in the way of a full recovery. We rely heavily on modern, proven methods such as CBT and mindfulness to help our patients overcome their addictions as well as co-occurring mental health disorders.
Group therapy helps our patients to build relationships with other people going through the same thing. From here, they can then develop relationships and support one another through their recovery.
Outdoor Therapy
Outdoor therapy is a form of therapy that involves spending time outdoors and engaging in activities that build leadership and teamwork. This is a great way to escape from the environment and the triggers that might have led to your addiction and it can also provide a healing effect thanks to the restorative qualities of nature.
Outdoor therapy can distract you from your addiction while helping you to focus on something greater than yourself and gain new structure in your life.
12-Step Process
The 12-step process is a process that has been used across countless rehab centers for a long time. It is popular simply because it works and it has helped many people to break down their addiction and then build themselves back up stronger and with a higher purpose. You don’t need to be religious to benefit from this system, it is up to you how you wish to interpret the lessons.
